Excellent quality blackened steel safety pins. The WWII era pins, for bandoleers, aid kits, etc., were all coated with a cancer-causing substance to turn them black! Not ours. These are modern blackened steel, but the same ruggedness and look of the WWII style pins. Great to have around for trouser blow-outs, fixes of all kinds, arm brassards, medic impressions, pinning flags to tents! So many uses, need to have a few sets with your gear! $1.50 set of 6 pins
