Magnets The GAN562 M contains a brand new, patented magnetic core that you won’t see in any other 5×5. GAN has used 112 magnets in this new 5×5, 96 externally and 16 in the core. Stronger magnets on the edge to edge pieces compared to weaker magnets in the edge to corner magnets help increase stability and allow you to turn outside layers without inner layer getting in the way. New turbo magnet capsules have a rounded sink and 360˚ locking to reduce friction and prevent jamming. This also ensures they do not become loose and fall out. Stability The brand new design of the centre cap deeply embeds into the centre block which prevents popping and improves stability. The screw core’s auto-alignment results in greater stability and faster speed. The GAN562 M is lightweight at only 127g making it comfortable and easy to hold. The combination of a strong structure and lightweight core lead to increased speed and effortless control. Edge pieces are wider than centre pieces to improve ease of control by allowing you to grip more easily. A honeycomb contact surface is has been implemented which decreases friction, and increases the longevity of lube ensuring your cube stays in perfect condition. Corner Cutting The GAN562 M also features impressive corner cutting throughout all its layers. In the outer layer, the corner cutting is 42˚ in the standard direction, and 22˚ of reverse corner cutting which is very impressive for a 5×5 cube.
